HELLO! MY NAME IS DESIRÉe Mae ForgéT.

I am constantly inspired by beauty & there isn't a day that goes by without me creating or thinking about art. I love that art can be created in so many different forms & mediums. It is so fulfilling to think of an idea, bring it to life & inspire others with my passion. My work is strongly influenced by the music I listen to & also expresses my love for beauty I see in nature & human figures by bringing their auras to life. When people look at my work I want them to feel the energy coming from each authentic personality within the pieces I create. I have a love for anything rustic & vintage & carry that worn style throughout my personal work.

I am currently living in the beautiful & eclectic Bay View neighborhood of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In 2016 I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design & have resided there until summer of 2020. My full-time job is Creative Lead & Graphic Designer for HYPE Visual Creative. Through HYPE Visual, we work with small businesses ranging from local restaurants to organic farms, hemp products & clothing lines. Specialties include logo design, branding, custom typography, illustration, packaging, print design, & some photography. At night & on the weekends I work on my personal art projects & freelance work.

Having skills in both the digital & studio world allows for a wide range of creativity & style. There are so many beautiful things about life that I take in as inspiration. In the warmer seasons I enjoy taking a break from technology by spending as much possible time in nature. I love traveling to new cities & visiting antique & vintage shops, music venues, bakeries, & coffee shops (huge foodie here). Being in my own home sanctuary is where I’m most comfortable after time away traveling. I value slow weekends of self growth; spending my free time baking, cuddling my fur babies, practicing yoga, gardening, reading, & of course exploring new forms of art.
